Goodbye, farewell... Adieu!

So, my dear readers,

this is the end.

The Google+ decided to kill mine, and several other blogs with their not so great, and for sure not user friendly Google+ photo editor.

The thing that pisses me of the most is the fact that they did not bother to reply to G+ users, who posted this issues on their community discuss page, at least the person who only said "sorry" didn`t really identified her/him self as a G+ person, but nevertheless - this is not nice.

I know my blog wasn`t the superstar of interesting or whatever, but it sure is a place of memories of people I "met" in the blogosphere, and now...

I know I still have your comments and posts... but still... this shouldn`t be happening.

At first I was angry at myself in a way, like, Ines RTFM!!! And then it hit me... How I was supposed to know?!

So... until I build a new blog, I say to all of you it was a pleasure to be Electro Geisha with you :)

And p.s. Google I don`t like you so much anymore.

Shoe curse

There... I have purchased a pair of afore-mentioned Zara shoes, and the curse has been brought upon me! When I didn`t find them in Croatia in my size, nor in Slovenia or Austria, I decided to buy myself a pair in a bigger size (found here in Zagreb), and solve the problem with silicon shoe socks. So I paid nearly 400 kuna, cca 38 Ł, and was so so happy! Now when I look in retrospect I see the signs, the universe telling me LET THEM GO! At the time, I thought it was just a challenge, when you want something, work hard to get it. Oh, boy, was I wrong. It apears that front parts covering toes are not equal in shape/length, but it is noticable only when wearing them, and to be honest after trying them in X stores, and when I realised I will buy them in size 37, I just took them from the shelf, tryed it on just one foot and paid the man. Oh my, and are they pretty and wonderful, I am really in love with them! And pissed at the same time. Ok, Zara don`t get me wrong, I love your designs and all, but I have to cry and squawk over this for a moment or two. The amount of disappointment brought by this shoe curse is equal to the excitement I had while buying and finally possesing them. Curse, curse, it`s a curse!

Lets, be clear, I had them on like two times. As much as I wanted to wear them, I was scared to take them out, so I dreaded and quailed for few days, and finally wore them to work yesterday. First they got me a giant blister on my pinky toe (I would expect that to happen first time, but well... I`ll just say - curse!). So I came to work only to realize that a small fabric loose on shoe clasp has been broken, teard beyond repair. Ok, I said to myself, maybe I can fix it at home. Just a little bit of thread and a neadle, and it will all be good.

Oh boy, was I wrong.

Comming home and taking them of was the dissapointment of the day! As it turns out, the inner top side of the shoe started to tear, like I have giant toe nails, which I don`t. So... the curse it taking it all the way. And they are so so pretty... this all just makes me cry, knowing that there is a possibility they will be ready for trash soon... too soon. As it seems, if I wear them, in next few times, the gentle soft fuscia fabric will tear apart.

Maybe the only thing I can do is to preserve them in this state they are, and have them stored just for looking them from time to time. What do you think? Any advice on this one?

My hearts desire Zara Tricolor Vamp shoe with heel

The moment I saw them it was love at first site. I was prepared to take them home that same moment, and start with them a love affair full of passion and affection. In a glimpse of an eye I knew that they are perfect for me, and one amazing outfit after another started to fill my mind... Daydream...

Cruel reality started to sink in when store lady informed me that they don't have them in my size (36/3). The same answer was in all Zara stores in my town (all mighty 4 of them). I was totally confused and desperate. So sad and I couldn't imagine that in 2-3 days (I was on a fashion pilgrimage like every day in Zara, scouting and stalking the perfect item) all of them in my size were sold. Sounds to me like a cruel game from above. WHY?!?!

Ok, enough with the drama, but really, what are the chances? I have been thinking maybe to order them from Austria or to go to Slovenia/Ljubljana just to see if there is a pair for me, but the cost of the trip, and just one small MAYBE are then again, just not enough to go...

So, if someone by any chance sees them in a store in my size, I would be so much grateful for the info (Zagreb or Split... etc.) and forever in your debt.

I just cant' stop thinking of them...

But on the bright side of life, my newest purchase from eBay arrived few days ago. I bought myself a wonderful pair of summer flat sandals... here is a preview, soon you will see them in action...

Hi there, missed me?

It has been a while. I have been caught up with different things, and to be honest, lost any interest in fashion lately. My plan was to have a photo journal with outfits and stuff, but with the lack of both camera and occasions to dress up, I gave up.
Since I found and connected with lots of great fashion bloggers, and discovered an amazing and beautiful world, I decided to stay, to write about musings, if nothing else. Currently I have so much to do in my RL regarding my thesis and some other projects, that I just can`t follow up with you guys. And 300+ blogs to go through every day or two is a joy, but a bit time consuming. And time I don`t have. So for now, here will be quiet(er). But I still have my eye on you... <3

This morning I had a first sniff of seasonal time coming. I know it is early a bit, but hey, Halloween is here, and Christmas will be just around the corner. Woke up, with dark still surrounding the day, and inhaled a winter smell with just a hint of Christmas. It was a journey right down a memory lane, with a spin on imagination runaround. How Proustian.

Sipping a hot delicious treat, reading a book by the window or cuddeling with someone special,

while its cold and snowing ... can`t wait.

As it has been announced, Zara has offered us on-line shop. Although I don`t know why I would buy anything from their shop, since I have shops here in the city. Ok, the situation where buyers don`t buy all the items for our market, but since I have had problems with sizes whole my life, I really try to avoid on-line shopping.

But since we do have this opportunity, lets see what they offer.

Being ill, with the flu or something like that I had whole 2 days, so far, just to do nothing. I know, I should have commented you guys, since I`m way behind, but thinking and putting meaningful sentences for 250+ blogs is too much for me right now. Yeah, I have 250+ of you, my dearest ones. Some in blogroll, some bookmarked, and some in my head.

So lets see what would I buy if I had ANY money at all...

I was absent from blogosphere for last couple of days because I was super busy.

In addition to a crazy schedule I turned 27 on Friday.

And I have one b-day wish - to attend Chictopia10 - The Media Tech Summit.

Last years participants photos were a real feast for my eyes, and I said to myself, if only I could go next time.

Since I`m pretty much peniless I can`t afford it, like no way.
If there is a good soul with some extra money with no idea what to do with it, pay me a trip to NY!

Happiness is all around. So excited I woke up this morning before 7. Now I`m finishing my packing, and somewhere around noon we are taking off to island Pag.

Can`t wait. It will be 16 days of sea, sun and fun. Relaxing and enjoying on the beach, hanging around with A. and our friends.

I would like to say thanx once more to lovely Meryl and Co. from Be in Style for giving me their "Style badge".

This morning I checked my e-mails, and that I do not do this early, it was 5.50. Just before going to work.

It was such a great start of the day and surprize when I saw Meryls e-mail. Be in Style is a fashion blog that covers subjects like make up, vintage clothing and must have accessories, and Meryl contacted me to give me a Style award badge and to offer me a feature on their blog. Yay!

Insanely hot, I might add.The heat wave strikes again. It gets up to 35 degrees, and tomorrow they foretasted the temperature to go up to 37*C. Insane. Im literally boiling inside.

Thank you all my dear readers for your lovely comments and visits. I appreciate them very much. And please excuse me for not replying soon, its just too hot to sit by the machine and boil some more.. hopefully it will be better in... (tnannanana the drums please) 8 days! Finally we are going on our well deserved vacation, so it will be easier by the sea.

Eventful weekend

Summer has arrived in Zagreb - big time! Its "hot in the city, hot in the city... tonight (but also all day, every day). Really, unbearable. So going for a trip was an excellent idea. At first idea was to visit one of many castles in nearby area, have a great photo shooting and maybe, but just maybe have a quick swim in a river.Yes, that was the plan.. but unfortunately the one we picked was being restored, so thus unusable. Pity. But we did took some photos, had an excellent off road trip through some unknown forests and roads (yes, we got lost), but at the end, our GPS lady did bring us back home.

The castle we tried to visit was a hunting castle with a nearby neo-Bysantine church. Sadly we couldn`t take photos of their true beauty. The church is placed on a small island in a small pond. Here are some photos.

N.B no, this is not an outfit post. It was too hot for anything besides shorts and a t-shirt...

This words are the first thing that comes to my mind when I visit our city's largest flea market.

We have several, and they are usually more, how should I put this - civil. This one reminds me of a nomads summit.

You can buy there everything you can imagine, and the prices are a bargain - which is also a must.

People come here during the night (one old gentleman told us that he arrived at 2 am) or early morning to get

the best of places. And this is open and functioning till noon, I think. We arrived at 7.30 am, and boy it was hot even then.

I was planing to buy some vintage stuff, antique looking gems or jewelery ... but didn`t. Nothing really caught my eye. Maybe next time.

But we made a purchase. I bought a long strapless black dress, and BF some t-shirts and shorts.

All in all.. we had fun just walking.

Speaking of fun, the best came last. I found a cute couple dressed just right and very interesting so I had to took their picture. Very colorful I would say :)

hahahhaha, did you noticed the fat mans belly in the back? LOL. Nice touch to the photo. I have an eye for details, really!

And at last, we had to refresh our selves with drinks and some food.

And guess what, weekend is still not over. We have a date with our friends tonight

in a horse club. YAY! horsies again!

Hopefully my dress will be dry till then :)

What can I really say about this amazing designer from Serbia? I think my words wouldn`t do him justice, and the pictures speak for them selves.

"My inspiration comes from historical costumes and I'm particularly inspired by the form of renaissance costumes. I try not to replicate it, but instead take lead from the basic themes." - are the words of the designer himself. "To execute this, I choose to focus on exaggerating scale, structure and detailing. I achieved volume by pleating leather to honour the silhouette of the period. Therefore, the collection nods towards Elisabethan costume, but uses fabrication to give a modern edge. There are also undertones of punk and bondage reaffirmed through fabrication."

Marko presented his work on LFW earlier this year and as well in this weeks DFWZ, where the visitors were waiting his show with sheer excitement and admiration. His collection was for sure the most special and beautiful one there. (If you ask me, of course!)

That his work is well known around the world says his list of clients. The most famous one is... Lady Gaga. Other clients are Paloma Faith, Immodesty Blaise, Baby Marchello, Broken Hearts.

Fashion gods find his work inspiring, avant-garde, and inovative. They think of him as a new Alexander McQueen.

I love this song, and video especially. It is a really spring video with lovely outfits.
Song is preformed by Dino Dvornik, and video was made after his sudden death, and his lovely daughter is the girl in the video.
It is in croatian, but i think you will enjoy it anyways. If not, well then outfits and cherry blossoms, right?

There is a new Kate in town, is what was said about her @ Jak&Jill blog (which is btw, my must have read, a whole day read past week. I have been browsing, and rebloging for days, and seeing same footage over and over was the best spent time) and I totally agree. Kate Moss hide! Not to be mistaken, I love Kate Moss` style very very much, and would like to raid her closet any time, but to be honest I fel in love with La Lanpher at first glance.

Photo weekend

Last weekend (not yesterday and day before, but one before that) my A. and me went for a coffee and crepes with our friends. We went to restaurant/caffe that is also a a part of a horse center. So with great company and delicious crepes with chocolate we had a lovely time with horses. Such wonderful and amazing animals. Boys had fun with their cameras too. After a lovely "picnic" on saturday, we went to our friends place for lunch on sunday. Great food (lamb+vegetables+vine) and wonderful company made the day. Boys and cameras part two :D

What do you do and what are your fashion role models?

In few very short lines I am finishing my uni (philosophy and religious studies major) and trying to find a permanent job. In mean while, I am blogging, writing, sometimes drawing and reading.

My fashion role models are? And here my mind goes blank! To be honest I think my role models are all the ladies out there whose outfits I fall in love at first glance. Some of them are among you, my dear bloggers, some of them just strangers I pass along at the streets or find pictures of in this virtual world of zeros and ones. Thinking of famous people, the choice is again quite hard. I think my number one would be SJP aka Carrie, then Kate Moss, Sienna Miller and I can`t think of anyone else at the moment. If you mean my designer role models I would say Ch. Lacroix, JP Gautier, J. Galliano and Chanel.

What's your favorite item in your weardrobe:)?

Although my heart is kind of pulling me towards all-time womens most favorite piece of weardrobe – shoes (or bags/purses) I would say no to that, and YES, my favorite item(s) in my weardrobe are blazers, as you can see that in my this post here.

What your main objectives for your blog are & why you chose to start a blog?

I started my blog some time ago, after being freshly unemployed. Since I can remember I was in love with clothes and fashion, and did some modeling as a 13 year old. Then this idea came to me naturally after discovering first fashion blogs. My main intent was to post my own outfits, like many of fashion blogers do, but not just them – it was supposed to be an fashion omnibus, full of inspiring findings around the blogosphere and internet itself with my own personal touch. But a problem occurred – I have no good spot at my place to take photos at, or at the moment of inspiration no one to take them the way I would like to. And lack of good camera is and underlaying issue as well. I tried couple of times (what can be seen at the begining of my blog) but I did not really like what I did, so I decided to postpone „my outfits“ part of the blog. Soon as I move in with my boyfiend, we are on! Hopefully that will happen soon.

What is fashion to you... or what do you think fashion should be?

As it is stated in my header quote - “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” By Coco Chanel. I think that fashion itself is inspired with all the things that are around us, nature and animals, sky and maybe even supernatural or divine. To me fashion is using plain cloth and giving it something special – in a way a soul, and by wearing them in all the ways a human being can imagine – we make their soul reflect all those things around us that inspired us in first place. Fashion is a playful thing, and should for ever be free of boundries.

If you could only live in five items in your wardrobe what would they be?

Underwear are a must (knickers and a bra). So that leaves me with 3 more. Washed jeans, t-shirt and chucks.

But if underwear is included, my five items would be those above + a scarf and a pair of heels. Just in case :D

What items are always in your fridge?

Milk, butter, yogurt, mayonnaise, pate, different sausages and meat products, some cake and I think that is it. And yeah eggs I suppose!

What is your beauty must have product?

Face tonic, good moisturizing day cream for very sensitive skin and mascara.

If you could raid one celebrities wardrobe whos would it be?

SJP aka Carrie, then Kate Moss, Sienna Miller... and lots of others celebs closets.

Where do you usually shop ?

Usually I shop in clothing chains like Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Dorothy Perkins, Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, H&M, Mango, etc. And lots of no name small shops I find in Zagreb...

Strangely but true, this will be a post with my photo in it. Usually I don`t post my outfits due to lack of (good or any) camera and all the needed accessories for one man show shootings :D and I don`t have anyone to take them for me, not somebody who will understand my somewhat strange request. So, while waiting to move in with my boyfriend who will be my photographer from that point till eternit, I post mainly other fashion related topics. What you can see for yourself.

BUT! I had a pleasure to pose for my friend, or should I say, he was kind enough and willing to take few shots of me. I had a whole great photoshoot planned, but time and fortune were not on my side, and some clothing issues accured, so in lack of "funds", we did what we did, what we could do anyways.

I can`t say I am not pleased, or that I am. There was a tiny amount of dissapointment, but only because I didn`t execute my plan as I wanted, and I like to have everything according to original plan. Anyways, it is like it is, next time, I will be more prepaired...

And I had an idea. Since many of you did Q&A stuff,

I was thinking to propose it to you.

The only thing is, the embarassement if no one is even interested in asking me anything.

But I will take that risk.. so shoot away!

I had a post about Cro fashion months ago (last year if I recall corectly).

This one is to present and anounce one cro designer - Igor Galaš and his work, which are going to be presented to the world at iD DUNEDIN EMERGING DESIGNER AWARDS on New Zeland.He will present his avant-garde collection inspired with militant motives and radical deconstructive interventions, whilst a subtle message is enviromental protection.

Igor has participated on several eminent international fashion contests like CREATEUROPE in Berlin i HEMPEL AWARD in Beijing. In Beijing, last year he was awarded with 3 medals, the gold one for the best fashion sketch, bronze one for the best collection and a special award for Republic of Croatia and designer himself for their first participation in this contest. The judges were Kenzo Takada and Yohji Yamamoto.

iD DUNEDIN – EMERGING DESIGNER AWARD contest was founded in2000. and has became well known for its relation towards sculptural tendentions among new generation of designers.
This years special guest is british fashion icon Zandra Rhodes.

I have so many ideas and things I would like to share with you, but at the same time, I don`t want to be boring with long posts... but what the hell :D here we go!

This morning I relised - I have a serious crush for blazers/jackets, and could have millions of them (same as shoes...)
These days I have been dreaming the same dream over and over. When I finally get myself a job, every month i will get myself a custom made blazer. My friend is a designer, I already have one blazer she made, and I have so many ideas for designs that I can`t wait...

Current major crush is for this Burrbery baby. It is not a blazer but a (trench) coat (right?). But I love it anyway...

Speaking of blazers/coats, It really doesn`t matter what is the color, the shape - I just love them all... mixing and matching, casual or chic...

But for now, being broke and pennyless I can only dream, and window shop... So I drooled a bit on Polyvore site.

So, my first lovely person, my new inspiration is Jeannine. She is 15 and she is a photographer, and i`ve seen her work on tumblr which led me to her blog.

And I love this photograph of hers... cute

Another lovely inspiration is Tamu McPherson, great fashionista and photographer, and a fellow blogger from Milan. I just stumbled upon her blog, and loved it!

My next wonderful inspiration is a really special girl. And she makes jewelry, beautiful pieces of art. Princesa de la boca de fresa is a great find and i have wished for every single piece from her gallery...

The september issue has arrived!

Although, this documentary was premiered in normal world in September, as it is normal and supposed to (hence the title), in my God forsaken country this will happen tonight. YAY!

So, i have the privilege to see it in a special "only with invitations" pre-premiere. This event is supported by Fashion.hr style community.
I have mentioned this community in my post about Croatian fashion. Fashion. hr was funded by young fashion enthusiast Vinko Filipić. this fashion concept was established in 2006. and its most praised product is DOVE Fashion week.

So, it is so natural that such strong fashion giant supports a documentary about fashion, most importantly about most powerful woman in fashion industry.

And it is so natural for me to be this excited to see the movie, to wear some killer outfit and have fun with my beloved friend Vanja. Cant wait :)

There will be lots of "celebritys" but I`ll write about those wanna-bes some other time. My camera is ready, i just have to get rid of my cold. Got a temperature this morning. But nothing can or will stop me :)

I will wear a red, scarlet red loooots of chains jacket. Its a piece of art made by my friend, previously mentioned, Vanja.

Thats the best photo I have for now, but we will take lots and lots of them tonight.

one dress for 365 days

Note to my self: dont forget your 50th post :) and yes, i have reached that number, and i could have been more prompt and have published more posts, but thats i guess my curse - laziness and total depression even with the things i like. that aside, 43 gone, 7 more to go :) and i will be middle aged :D

News of the day! let me introduce you with Sheena Matheiken, a girl that had a brilliant idea, and formed something called The uniform project.

What Sheena says about the project:

The Idea

Starting May 2009, I have pledged to wear one dress for one year as an exercise in sustainable fashion. Here’s how it works: There are 7 identical dresses, one for each day of the week. Every day I will reinvent the dress with layers, accessories and all kinds of accouterments, the majority of which will be vintage, hand-made, or hand-me-down goodies. Think of it as wearing a daily uniform with enough creative license to make it look like I just crawled out of the Marquis de Sade's boudoir.

The Uniform Project is also a year-long fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that is revolutionizing education in India. At the end of the year, all contributions will go toward Akanksha’s School Project to fund uniforms and other educational expenses for children living in Indian slums.

The Story of Uniforms

I was raised and schooled in India where uniforms were a mandate in most public schools. Despite the imposed conformity, kids always found a way to bend the rules and flaunt a little personality. Boys rolled up their sleeves, wore over-sized swatches, and hiked up their pants to show off their high-tops. Girls obsessed over bangles, bindis and bad hairdos. Peaking through the sea of uniforms were the idiosyncrasies of teen style and individual flare. I now want to put the same rules to test again, only this time I'm trading in the catholic school fervor for an eBay addiction and relocating the school walls to this wonderful place called the internet.

The Dress

How do you design a dress that can be worn all year around? The mastermind behind the uniform dress is my friend and designer, Eliza Starbuck. We took inspiration from one of my staple dresses, improving upon the shape and fit to add on some seasonal versatility. The dress is designed so it can be worn both ways, front and back, and also as an open tunic. It’s made from a durable, breathable cotton, good for New York summers and good for layering in cooler seasons. With deep hidden pockets to appease my deep aversion for carrying purses. The Accessories

The hats and plumes, the dickeys and drapes, the shoes and slips, the belts and brooches – much of what you will see are byproducts of my cyber-slacking on eBay and Etsy, backed by visits to the many local vintage boutiques, thrift stores and flea markets of New York. I am also collaborating with other designers and friends to create original pieces. First thank you all for your lovely comments. You really made me feel all fuzzy and warm inside :) My last post was about fall. Well, last Monday when that was written, it was still pretty much summer. We all still wore T-shirts, maybe occasional sweater or a light jacket in the morning, but most of the day it was warm. Too warm for this time of the year, and the temperature went up almost to 30 C.

But now its all gone. It is pouring rain all day, the fall has come. Bright pre-fall-earthly colors are now replaced with boring gray. Boring it is when the sky is like that, but when we wear it, not so boring at all. but that topic we will cover some other time.

This weekend, precisely on Sunday I had the opportunity to participate on not so much a guy sport any more - slalom. My boyfriend was the participant in fact, not me. I was the excited spectator. The smell of gas and oil, noise and racket made by powerful or some not so powerful engines was fun, more than I expected. But since this is a fashion related blog, I am not going to talk about racings and cars no longer, but this event had me thinking about "racing" or better to say, "racing spectator" outfit, more accurate - the boots!

Immediately I saw the perfect outfit for myself, even though, no-one would even spotted me, or more importantly thats no place for dressing up. but who cares, a girl can dream right? Or, more importantly, a girl can wear what she wants where ever she wants!

I had a wonderful time with my one and only on island Pag.
ten days of solitude and rest, filled with love, kissing and enjoying in each other.

Pag is most known as a Croatian Ibiza. On the beach Zrće you can enjoy real ibiza atmosphere.
lots of clubs, after beach partys and crazy all night partys.
Zrće is a destination for lots of foreign tourists and DJs (Fedde LeGrand, Nikki Belushi, Tom Novi, Tiesto etc.)
Im not really a fan of that kind of music, but sometimes its not bad to visit those partys.

Usually we went to small, private beaches and enjoyed sun and sea in quiet calm environment :)

I was pretty sad when it was time to go home...

this is it for now. i have lots of catching up to do...read you all :)

I turned 26 yesterday. Have to say, I`m "bit" overwhelmed. Still without a job. So, naturally I felt a bit like this... Just wanted to run away from TIME!

But being blue wont get me anywhere so... lets enjoy beautiful photos.

Film company Disney released some of the photohraphs regarding the movie. For some reason this has happened now, although premiere is scheduled for next year.

Young and lovely Mia Wasikovska plays Alice, the most magnificent among actors Johnny Depp plays the Mad Hatter, allways beautiful, interesting and surreal Helena Bonham Carter plays the role of Red Queen. The role of withe queen got Anne Hathaway. I saw many (maybe all) of Tim Burtons movies and i have to say that i cant wait to see this one. I loved J. Depp & H.B. Carter in Sweeny Todd, and other movies (together or seperatley) and I am truly excited to see them here...

The first STARTAS sample 183, a canvas lace-up sport shoe with rubber sole, was originally designed for table-tennis players in 1976, and soon became an iconic object of desire in the communist Yugoslavia. Let me introduce you with my countrys fashion expression, designers and stuff :D
the place where you can find all you need is fashion.hr. I wont yap about its history, but it is and idea from a very talented young man (so hot, not gay) who's enthusiasm made preety big stuff for croatian designers. Before him it was all there but not there. so he gave them a name, he came up with fashion festivals where they can present them selves, and actually can be seen at all. and big guys/ladies with lots of feathers (meaning money) buy their stuff and love them very much. there are really so many good designers, but not affordable to "smal and mortal" people like me.

Hot in the city, summer in the city :)

Hay to ya all. my dear sweetie pies, my lovely inspirational readers.
its been, too too long; and summer has arrived couple of times, and then got scared and went away for a week, but it is here again.

job update! no more! job dead. me unemployed again. awful story, lets leave it in the past. summer is here and that is enough. most important.

so, im spending my days at home, being NOT tanned, but today i decided to go up on the roof and get some color. im a redhead, and you know how impossible that is, but i am decisive and i want to be in nice summer tan. listening the radio, this summers hits, i enjoy nestea and sun :) and a good book. So, if you havent noticed my mouth are full of summer! and sun!!

i had some ideas about the post, but.. random as i am.. go figure! ok, for the comeback post rambeling it is.

Summer in Croatia is very painful if you are not at seaside. painful, why? well, hot hot hot! being melted down by 30+ C on even hoter sidewalks and streets - well not fun!
And i always frown upon with jelaousy on people who live at sea, or can afford long vacations. croatian people, mainly those who live by the sea are well known for their, how to say it - will fot NOT working. they are slow and have the tendency to be at leasure all the time. ok, they all work, but it is the state of mind. it will get done, someday. enjoy!

Croatian people, in general, are known for their coffee drinking rituals. at noon, on a working day, our coffee shops and their teraces are crowded. its like with british and tea :)

while sitting and sipping we watch. each other. with envy or admiration. Croatian women are very sensitive about fashion. posch, preppy, trendsetters, subculturals - it doesnt matter! the main thing is to show where you belong and be fashionable in your own click!

when i was in london, i have to say i was amazed. i fell in love. but, the surprising thing was that i didnt see so many "stylish" girls as you can see here. i mean, in london people give the impression that they do not care, they enjoy :) in croatia, our "stylish" girls would rather die, than go out without mascara and etc, styled from head to toe - going out for bread and milk in the store just at our house. i think they sleep with makeup and perfect outfits. i mean fashion is ok, but - lets be honest, there are boundries. and there are boundries!

enough. i will make another post regarding croatian fashion week and our countrys fashion queens and kings. but some other time.

it time to eat. and drink more ice tea :)

this weather is killing me. headache is killing me. but that is not a theme of this post.

Dear readers,
my absence is caused by shitty weather, thus the shitty mood.
I sleep most of the day, then work on one of the paintings, but
most of the time I just curse the winter.

But last two days have been sunny and wonderful, so, it seams that life came back
into me :)
Since i spend most of my days at home, there are no outfits, whatsoever...
I have never wore PJ`s and sport stuff in this amount, being unemployed.
And it sucks!

So, as i am waiting for beautiful spring to arrive, i daydream of lovely lite wardrobe,
wearing them on a picnic, on a lovely sunny spring day... just being lazy on the blanket
with my bf, staring at the blue sky, listening to the humming of the birds and bees :)
Oh, sweet dreams, please come true!!!

p.s. not to forget. this is as well a special occasion!

these days snowflakes made me a bit more like a polar bear in his winter sleep.
i go out, only if necessary. instead i am spending my time amusing my self on your blogs.
i read you, i read poetry - yours, theirs, every bodys! and i love it...

todays color, as you can see is pink. usually I` m not a fan of pink, but in photography, as you can see it here ... (i don`t have an end to this sentence, i just giggle and look somewhere beyond, so detached and not here... like i fall in love each second for the first time. again)

i am preparing one project, which i will share with you, someday, i hope soon. till then i would like to read some books i have spotted here in the virtual reality, but can`t get so far, because not many will ship anything to this God forsaken place...
why? God why????

well, since i don`t really have a writing bug in me now, i think it is best to go and make some crepes and cocoa, and enjoy the evening with interesting reading. i would prefer his arms, but hay, it is like it is ...

time here in non working zone passes so slow. I am being properly lazy and i can say, i do enjoy it. Ok, i have crazy times from moment to moment, wanting to go to work and miss all this free time, that I have reserved just for you.

it has been a while since I posted here, these holidays made me more lazy and hedonistic.
and in that spirit I wish you all the best in the new year, i wish you courage, creativity and will for doing anything you wish, and for you to make it true and possible :D

everyone was writing something like NYs resolutions. well, i thought about that, and i realized that it is pointless for me to make a list because i never stick to it. but, i love lists and i am a real control freak.

so, lets try :)

i have to say it, i passed my Greek exam :D and i am one step closer to finishing my college education. few essays to do, my thesis is finally finished, and i am on the way!

weather report controls my outfits. so there is no need for inspiration, because i am doomed to being practical. and i hate that. i am an aesthete rather than pragmatic.
i dont mind colder temperatures and grayness, but the rain is falling like crazy! so no fancy and expensive shoes, i need waterproof protection on my feet :(
i think it is better not to go out..

i had an hebrew exam on Friday. and i passed. no extra outfit for that special occasion. sportish kinda outfit...not worth mentioning...

i had some job interviews this week as well. i have to wait and see... one of them is for journalist/ web editor/copywriter - my almost dream job! so keep fingers crossed!

so my dear readers,
i have been away for a while...
the job is still not found but i am working on these subject very hard, so i have few interviews this week... keep fingers crossed...

my thesis is in a rut. my muse has gone to warmer places and she does not give a damn for my lack of inspiration. i mean thesis is finished, but i dont like one chapter so i was thinking of changing it.. but since my inspiration is on strike... i just can wait..
the topic is - theme of love in philosophy... so i need my inspiration bck asap!!!

while i am busy with mentioned problems, i have bought some new stuff.. i will worry about money next year :D

my mom made me this skirt. i can already see red leggings, and black knee boots in this combo...

i got this great vintage shoulder bag, some 30 years old, from my cousin. she got her from her granny.

my granny left me this fab fur cap :) i am ready for snow

also from my grandma... brown and just beautiful :)
